Concluding what has become a horse gram week.. I made Hurali Saaru today, rasam with the water the horse gram was cooked in. It's a traditional Karnataka dish. We usually cook the horse gram in loads of water, separate stock from the dal and make a dal Stir fry and Rasam of the stock. As I've already used up all the dal for my paranthas and dumplings in the past 2 days, I made cabbage and double beans stir fry to go with the rasam. Completed the lunch plate with a some Navane (fox tail millet).
Fire roasted urad papad makes everything so much more tastier. The only thing missing was some dried curd Chillies!
On a side note I've been watching The Boys on Prime, can I just say it's appauling and disgusting and possibly my favourite superhero show till date! 😅
