ragi mudde

Today's OMAD is mudde made of mixed flours Ragi Bajra and Jowar and Sambar with Radish, Green Beans, Carrot, Potato and Onions. I made the sambar in one pot trying to optimise my cooking. Soaked toor dal for 2hrs and dumped all chopped veggies along with the dal into my small cooker and gave 4whistles. Put in all the masala, coconut paste and boil. Only the tempering was made in seperate pan. 2 cloves of Garlic and 1/2" stick of cinnamon give a nice fragrance like maduve mane oota.

I often like to start my eating window with a big meal and have a snack later. It stops me from binging on everything that comes my way. I recommend everybody eat a big hardy meal first thing in the morning. You might not require another meal until the next day.
